The PXL 1000 digital camera is designed for bright-field imaging environments such as x-ray nondestructive evaluation and testing and wind-tunnel testing. The system can detect signal changes of less than 0.2% in bright backgrounds. The 1024 ¥ 1024 detector array includes 24 ¥ 24-µm pixels. The camera has a signal-to-noise ratio of 1000:1. The camera operates in either high signal-to-noise mode for bright-field imaging or high-sensitivity mode for low-light detection. The user contr
