Laser thermopile

A fast thermopile detector can detect laser energy arriving at rates ranging from continuous to 100-MH¥pulses using thin-film technology. The detector can be ordered with active regions ranging from 10 ¥ 10 to 15 ¥ 15 mm and has a linear dynamic range over 10 decades with a flat spectral response. Applications include measuring excimer, (Nd-, Ho-, or Er-doped) YAG, as well as carbon dioxide lasers. Water-cooled heads can measure u¥to 30 W from industrial lasers.
