UV detector

Oct. 1, 1998
Gallium nitride detectors offer extended deep-UV coverage. The detectors are blind to visible light, with a sharp cutoff wavelength at 365 nm. The standard sensitive area for the UV 100 detector is 250 µm in diameter, and the detector is packaged in a standard TO-5 can. Applications include flame sensing, UV source control, solar UV monitoring, and spectroscopy.
