    An addition to the company`s VC series of industrial smart cameras has a detector array of 1300 ¥ 1030 pixels. The increased resolution allows smaller defects to be detected and classified, more accurate measurements (as small as 1 µm) to be made, and more reliable reading of characters and codes. The camera includes 8 Mbit of RAM, 2 Mbit of flash EPROM, a digital signal processor, optically isolated inputs and outputs, an RS-232 interface, and RS-170/CCIR video output.
