Silicon and InGaAs SMT photodetectors cover 300 to 1700 nm

Dec. 22, 2022
Silicon and InGaAs surface-mount technology (SMT) photodetectors are assembled in compact, water-clear p-i-n, avalanche photodiode, position-sensing detector, and 1206 packaging.

Silicon and indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) surface-mount technology (SMT) photodetectors are assembled in compact, water-clear p-i-n, avalanche photodiode, position-sensing detector, and 1206 packaging. With wavelengths ranging from 300 to 1700 nm, they have active area sizes from 0.185 up to 8.07 mm2, small footprints, and low dark current and capacitance, for use in imaging sensing applications.
