Scientific CMOS camera offering suits harsh environments

April 23, 2021
Two CMOS cameras have uses in harsh environments, with one able to perform monitoring in high-radiation applications.

Two CMOS cameras have uses in harsh environments: The 1600s scientific CMOS (sCMOS) camera accommodates 464 Mpixel front- and back-illuminated, high quantum efficiency (QE) sCMOS sensors that are thermoelectrically (TE) cooled to reduce dark current, and the RVT100 machine vision CMOS camera is available with 2 or 4 Mpixel sensor options to improve QE in the near-infrared for monitoring in high-radiation applications. A variety of configurations and options for each is available.
