They combine Femtolasers' proprietary Difference Frequency Generator, vacuum sealed amplifier crystal chamber, and Dispersive Mirror technologies to enable "unprecedented" pulse quality; as well as short-term, long-term and carrier-envelope offset phase (CEP) stability and reproducibility. They target demanding scientific applications requiring short pulse duration and a highest possible peak power.

The optimum light source for attosecond and intense laser science

Third generation femtosecond lasers offer "entire energy" milliJoule pulses

Elliot Scientific are proud to be able to offer the latest models in a range of high-power ultra-fast Ti:Sapphire amplifier systems from premier manufacturer FEMTOLASERS of Vienna, Austria. The extraordinary features found in this 3rd generation of laser systems are a culmination of year on year improvements since the range was introduced in 1997.

Applications include:

• Attoscience
• Time resolved ultrafast spectroscopy
• OPA pumping
• TW & PW ultrafast ampli¬fier system front-ends
• Femtochemistry
• Coherent THz generation
• Materials processing
• High Harmonic Gene¬ration incl. X-ray generation

and many others where unsurpassed short pulse duration and a highest possible peak power is required for use in demanding scientific environments.

Femtolasers' proprietary know-how, such as the compact and robust Difference Frequency Generator, the innovative vacuum sealed amplifier crystal chamber and novel Dispersive Mirror technologies, combine to offer unprecedented pulse quality, short-term, long-term and CEP stability and reproducibility.

The system generates the shortest and highest energy optical pulses commercially available with an unrivalled guaranteed stability and an inherently negligible CEP noise from its leading combination of FEMTOSOURCE™ rainbow™ seed oscillator and FEMTOPOWER multi-pass amplifier. This makes it the optimum light source for attosecond and intense laser science.

The pulse-background contrast is also the highest in commer¬cial amplifier systems where the main pulse contains the entire energy without pre-pulses or pedestals.
