The European Network for Cell Imaging and Tracking Expertise (ENCITE), part of the European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR; Vienna, Austria), will host a workshop May 21–23 covering developments in cellular, whole-body optical and optoacoustic technology; targeted nanoparticles; and smart activatable probes to follow cell migration, cell death, and other molecular processes.

To be held in close cooperation with Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (Cologne, Germany), the workshop will take place at Leiden University Medical Center (Leiden, The Netherlands). While there, workshop attendees will take a tour through the Center's new imaging facility for both cells and animals.
