Small-animal optical imaging the focus of upcoming ENCITE workshop

April 13, 2012
The European Network for Cell Imaging and Tracking Expertise (ENCITE), part of the European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR), will host a workshop May 21–23 covering developments in cellular, whole-body optical, and optoacoustic technology; targeted nanoparticles; and smart activatable probes to follow cell migration, cell death, and other molecular processes.

The European Network for Cell Imaging and Tracking Expertise (ENCITE), part of the European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR; Vienna, Austria), will host a workshop May 21–23 covering developments in cellular, whole-body optical and optoacoustic technology; targeted nanoparticles; and smart activatable probes to follow cell migration, cell death, and other molecular processes.

To be held in close cooperation with Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (Cologne, Germany), the workshop will take place at Leiden University Medical Center (Leiden, The Netherlands). While there, workshop attendees will take a tour through the Center's new imaging facility for both cells and animals.

Registration is free and open until May 7. For more information, please visit www.encite.org.
