The event will take place on Thursday, September 4 in Boston, MA. Novadaq develops real-time medical imaging systems and image-guided therapies for the operating room. Volcano manufactures and develops intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), functional measurement (FM) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) products to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of coronary and peripheral vascular disease.

Novadaq Technologies Inc. (Toronto, Ontario, Canada; TSX: NDQ), VP and general manager Dr. Rick Mangat will present an update on his company's business at 9:45 a.m. ET; the presentation will be webcast live and then archived for 30 days on the Novadaq website.

Novadaq's product lineup includes the SPY Imaging System, which helps surgeons to visualize blood vessels, tumors, tumor margins and the lymphatic system in real-time during surgery. The PINPOINT System for endoscopic autofluorescence imaging is Novadaq's first minimally invasive product; it allows surgeons to differentiate between healthy and cancerous tissue in the lung and other hollow organs. The SPY" scope, another minimally invasive product, combines the typical features of a standard endoscope with the capabilities of SPY imaging. Novadaq's OPTTX System is designed for the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). In addition, Novadaq is the exclusive U.S. distributor of PLC Medical's CO2 HEART LASER System.

Volcano Corporation's (Nasdaq: VOLC) presentation, by president and CEO Scott Huennekens, will begin at 3:50 p.m. ET at the conference website and later appear on the Volcano site.

Volcano Corporation offers a broad range of devices designed to facilitate endovascular procedures, enhance the diagnosis of vascular and structural heart disease and guide optimal therapies. The company's intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) product line includes ultrasound consoles that can be integrated directly into virtually any modern cath lab. Volcano IVUS offers unique features, including both single-use phased array and rotational IVUS imaging catheters, and advanced functionality options, such as VH tissue characterization and ChromaFlo.
