Combined with Andor’s (Belfast, Northern Ireland) CCD, ICCD and EMCCD cameras and spectrographs, its new modular microspectroscopy set-ups allow ultrafast yet sensitive microscopy imaging and spectroscopy. A key enabling component is the Shamrock spectrograph wide-aperture slit, which enables one detection setup with a single camera to image samples while allowing spectral information collection through the same optical path from a microscope. The modular range performs with the company's Newton and iXon+ EMCCD cameras to allow weak Raman or photoluminescence signal collection down to single-photon sensitivity. An all-in-one imaging and spectroscopy setup is possible, including C-mount interfacing to all major microscopes, seamless kinematic mounting of various accessories, and multiple configurations with dedicated Thorlabs cage systems interfaces.
