New Excelsior lasers include continuous wave (CW) 50mW at 515nm and 50mW at 594 nm. And, the Excelsior and Cyan 488nm lasers at 10 to 40 mW are now available with power-adjustability. Many Excelsior OEM lasers are also offered as fiber-coupled versions, including the 375, 405, 440, 473, 532, 561, 642, 785, and 1064 nm models. The Excelsior family now includes 13 discrete wavelengths and over 100 different models for confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, and other bioinstrumentation applications.
According to Newport, theirs is the broadest offering of high reliability, compact lasers with best-in-class lifetime data. The Excelsior lasers promise superior beam quality and low optical noise for excellent fluorescence signal-to-noise ratios.
