Biophotonics R&D competition set to launch

The European Commission's BiophotonicsPlus European Competition for Collaborative R&D Funding, which aims to ready biophotonics projects for clinical, medical, and industrial application, will launch on October 1.

The European Commission's BiophotonicsPlus European Competition for Collaborative R&D Funding, which aims to ready biophotonics projects for clinical, medical, and industrial application, will launch on October 1.

The competition will be open for applicants (legal entities) from the participating countries and regions: Catalonia, Spain; Latvia; Flanders, Belgium; Tuscany, Italy; Germany; and the United Kingdom.

Eligible project proposals comprise at least two participants (usually enterprises) from at least two participating countries and regions. Also, participants must be eligible according to the eligibility rules of their respective country or region.
