Gooch & Housego has launched two RF drivers to complement its extensive range of acousto-optic tunable filters. The 8 channel DFS RF driver for line selection applications allows independent analogue and digital modulation of up to 8 pre-set wavelengths, with an internal memory allowing up to 16 stored user configurations, via USB or RS232 interfaces. The 16 channel DSF RF driver, for broadband light source filtering and imaging applications, enables independent control of frequency, amplitude and phase of up to 16 channels, allowing active pass-band resolution and profile control via a standard USB interface.

Applications set to benefit from these advances include confocal microscopy and hyperspectral imaging in the biomedical sector and spectroscopy in the scientific sector.
