The KAE-04471 4 Mpixel interline transfer EMCCD image sensor uses 7.4 μm pixels to improve image quality under light-starved conditions. The sensor is pin- and package-compatible with the 8 Mpixel KAE 08151 version, allowing camera manufacturers to leverage existing camera designs. It is housed in a ceramic micro-PGA package, and available in monochrome and Bayer color configurations.
