RGB Lasersystems to present portable NIR spectrometer at SPIE BiOS and Photonics West 2016

The Qred portable near-infrared (NIR) spectrometer measures 67 × 62 × 20 mm and weighs 250 g.

The Qred portable near-infrared (NIR) spectrometer measures 67 × 62 × 20 mm and weighs 250 g. A high-throughput Czerny-Turner spectrometer with a TEC-cooled InGaAs line image sensor, its standard configuration offers a resolution of 8 nm across a wavelength range of 900 to 1700 nm. Custom wavelength ranges up to 2.5 μm and higher resolutions are also available. Additional features include heat transfer without a fan, no moving parts, and onboard processing that delivers fully processed spectra and allows application-specific evaluation.
