PicoQuant to debut picosecond laser at SPIE BiOS and SPIE Photonics West 2015

Jan. 27, 2015
The VisIR-765 picosecond laser is optimized to be used as a depletion laser in stimulated emission depletion (STED) microscopy.

The VisIR-765 picosecond laser is optimized to be used as a depletion laser in stimulated emission depletion (STED) microscopy. The laser emits at 766 nm at variable repetition rates up to 80 MHz. Average output reaches up to 500 mW with a pulse width of several hundred picoseconds (at FWHM), which is found to be ideal for STED microscopy.
