Micro Laser Systems to display fiber collimator at SPIE Optics + Photonics 2014

Aug. 7, 2014
The Fiber Focuser fiber collimator can generate micron spot sizes at long working distances in applications such as direct laser writing, flow cytometry, genetic sequencing, micro array scanners, and particle analysis.
The Fiber Focuser fiber collimator can generate micron spot sizes at long working distances in applications such as direct laser writing, flow cytometry, genetic sequencing, micro array scanners, and particle analysis. They work with singlemode-type fiber in the 350-2300 nm wavelength range. The company's Interchangeable Focusing Cells screw on to the main collimator to provide a way to define a focused spot—for example, a <20 mm spot at 100 mm. The focuser's optical materials eliminate or minimize any fluorescence generated by some optics. There is no epoxy in the optical path, and an all-stainless-steel housing construction minimizes temperature effects.SPIE Optics + Photonics booth number: 521To Learn More:Contact:Micro Laser SystemsHeadquarters: Garden Grove, CAProduct: Fiber Focuser fiber collimatorKey Features: 350-2300 nm singlemode-type fiber compatibilityWhat Micro Laser Systems says: View more information on the Fiber Focuser fiber colllimator.View More Products Locate a vendor or system integrator in our Buyer's Guide.Share new products that you think are particularly interesting or helpful by contacting Lee Dubay, Associate Editor, Laser Focus World.
