Kenley, England--Optical components and systems maker Optical Surfaces Ltd. recently celebrated 50 years in business on April 13, continuing to serve applications in fundamental physics, astronomy, space, defense, and the environment. The company's optical components and instruments offerings include flats, spheres, aspherics, paraboloids, toroids, windows, and mounts, as well as expertise in large optics, beam expanders, collimators, and prototypes.
Despite the global recession, the company has managed to increase sales by 20% over the last 3 years, states Dr. Aris Kouris, sales manager. Planned for this year is a new website launch this month and several new products, including a 5-axis mount and an unequal path interferometer, he adds.
