New blue laser diode wavelengths and power levels have been introduced for installation into a wide assortment of PTI modules for applications in laser-induced fluorescence, confocal microscopy, high-resolution printing, flow cytometry, and Raman spectroscopy. New offerings include 375 nm/200 mW, 395 nm/120 mW, 415 nm/120 mW, 420 nm/120 mW, and 460 nm/100 mW models.

LITTLE ROCK, AR, June 10, 2011– Power Technology, Inc. (PTI), a leader in the Photonics Industry for over 40 years, announces the availability of new blue laser diode wavelengths and power levels for 2011. These new laser diodes can be installed in a wide assortment of PTI modules created to address the needs of high-end OEM applications. These include laser-induced fluorescence, confocal microscopy, high-resolution printing, flow cytometry, and Raman spectroscopy. Most applications that use Argon-Ion, Helium Cadmium, and blue ND: YAG lasers can take advantage of this cutting edge technology.
