Superlum SLD-mCS are compact, 9-30 V DC biased, superluminescent diode light source modules at wavelengths from 660 nm to 1550 nm comprising any SLD module of Superlum and its controller. The design ensures stable operation of any SLD-mCS over range of 0-50C and modulation of 50 kHz and more, making them an ideal solution for applications requiring wide spectrum and low coherence sources.

Reaching highest LIDT was demonstrated with LASEROPTIK’s large mirrors for HAPLS, the most powerful petawatt laser ever built, part of ELI Beamlines. One of the major achievements is a measured laser damage threshold of 0.9 J/cm2 at 42 fs and 805 nm, while maintaining large bandwidth and high wavefront quality. The large IBS broadband mirrors showed no crazing after many vacuum-air cycles.

Choose from High Energy - more than 2.3J for the Q-smart (flashlamp-pumped) - or High Average Power due to repetition rate - up to 400Hz for the Merion (diode-pumped). These lasers deliver exceptionally high-quality beams both spatially and temporally. The various choices of wavelengths and options (including SLM & fiber coupling) allow these lasers to be adapted to a wide variety of applications.
