Based on quantum cascade technology, Hamamatsu’s new quantum cascade detector (QCD) is an ultrafast mid-infrared photodetector featuring a response bandwidth of 20 GHz. This QCD can achieve very fast measurement speeds while operating at room temperature, unlike other mid-IR detectors that struggle to perform at high frequency. In addition, the QCD requires no cooling and no bias voltage to operate.

The J270 is a tiny high-voltage pulse generator, with user-settable delay and pulse width in the nanosecond range. It makes clean fast pulses from 0.8 to 20 volts, with typical 1 ns rise and fall. It is an ideal cable, SiC fet, PIN diode, or laser driver. Comes with optional analog time modulation inputs.
