Buccaneer SHG is a femtosecond Er-doped fiber laser with built in high-efficiency second-harmonic generator based on PPLN crystals. The laser produces pulses with a duration shorter than 120 fs at an average power of greater than 50 mW at 780 nm. It is available with any fixed repetition rate of 50, 80 and 100 MHz.

Buccaneer SHG is a femtosecond Er-doped fiber laser with built in high-efficiency second-harmonic generator based on PPLN crystals. The laser produces pulses with a duration shorter than 120 fs at an average power of greater than 50 mW at 780 nm. It is available with any fixed repetition rate of 50, 80 and 100 MHz. Femtosecond pulsed lasers are used in a growing number of applications in physics and life sciences, including material processing, multiphoton imaging, pump-probe spectroscopy, and parametric generation. Modelocked femtosecond Er-doped nonlinear optical fiber offers an alternative to conventional Ti:sapphire and Cr:forsterite femtosecond laser systems, providing robust and stable operation without the need for frequent realignment.
