In 2007 TOPTICA introduced their iBeam smart diode laser. It was the first member of the "smart" product family and it was designed to ideally fulfill the demanding requirements of industrial applications. This single-purpose approach permitted TOPTICA to present ideal solutions to the benefit of the customer in many cases.
The philosophy of the iBeam smart was also transferred to TOPTICA's fiber lasers: The FemtoFiber smart series of compact, dedicated and effective femtosecond fiber lasers was first introduced in 2008.
Since its launch in 2007, TOPTICA's "smart" products have generated a tremendous demand in a variety of markets and applications in over 5000 installations.
