• fSONA Introduces New Longer Range FSO System
  Vancouver, Canada, January 14, 2003. fSONA has introduced the rate-adaptive SONAbeam 1250?M Free Space Optical (FSO) system for wireless communications. The 1250-M, as well as the previously released 1250-S, provides wireless connectivity at either Fast (100/125 Mbps) or true Gigabit (1000/1250 Mbps) Ethernet speeds over ranges up to four kilometers (2.5 miles).
