November 16,2006, Berlin, Germany--Lumics has released of an OEM fiber laser series with 15 W optical output power. The LU1000F015 product is part of a new line of continuous wave fiber laser assemblies with up to 50 W optical output power. The fiber laser uses Lumics' new pump laser chip to generate with more than 60% electrical-to-optical power conversion efficiency.

The LU1000F product range is designed to provide high single-mode beam quality in a competitive, building-block architecture to meet the needs of fiber laser OEMs and systems integrators in industrial markets.
