GlobalSpec enhances engineering web site
Troy, NY, March 26, 2004--GlobalSpec, a specialized search engine and online resource for engineers and technical professionals, has launched a more powerful search functionality, deeper engineering content, and "The Engineering Web." Search enhancements include "The Engineering Web," defined as the slice of World Wide Web that focuses solely on engineering-related information. GlobalSpec now also provides access to the hidden Web, including application notes, patents, material properties, and standards--content not available on any other search engine.
"We have built the specialized search engine and content repository for engineers and technical buyers with everything of relevance, expertly classified and indexed in one place. In fact, we believe we have built the definitive search platform for the engineering community," said Jeffrey Killeen GlobalSpec chairman and CEO.
