Radiometric Calibration for IR Cameras
Croissy-Beaubourg, France, January 7, 2003. CEDIP Infrared Systems, a European manufacturer of IR thermal camera systems, has now installed a new automated calibration test bench in its production facility.
The new set-up allows the company to assure the accuracy of all its cameras covering the temperature range from -5°C to 1600°C, through a set of fixed- point radiation source.
Each of these reference sources is traceable against national radiation standards. The calibration process of each camera is done automatically through proprietary software specifically developed for this task. This installation allows CEDIP to provide accurate and fast calibration data for its full range of IRFPA cameras covering SWIR, MWIR and LWIR spectral regions and temperature ranges.
CEDIP Infrared Systems design and manufacture a full range of infrared systems dedicated to temperature measurement applications.
