Paris, April 5, 2002 -- Picvue, the Taiwanese LCD manufacturer, and Nemoptic, the French R&D company specialized in advanced LCD technologies, signed a Cooperation Agreement for the BiNem (Bistable Nematic) LCD technology of Nemoptic.

The objective of this agreement is to transfer the BiNem technology to Picvue production lines in Taiwan and in China. The BiNem technology combines outstanding optical performances and power savings while being very competitive with other passive LCD technologies.
