Dominik J. Naczynski, Ph.D. is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford University. His research is focused on the development of novel optical approaches for deep-tissue molecular imaging and surgical/radiation therapy guidance. He holds an undergraduate degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Cornell University and, as an NIH Pre-doctoral Biotechnology Fellow, received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University. His thesis concentrated on the development of shortwave infrared (SWIR, NIR-II) reporters for tracking tumor progression and intratumoral drug delivery. He has published in leading scientific journals including Nature Communications, holds a patent on biomedical SWIR imaging, and has received multiple awards for innovations in medical imaging.
