The MPC-D40x Series of thermoelectric coolers (TECs) incorporates microstructuring technology to produce an electrical resistance of more than 30 Ω on a 1 mm2 footprint. In combination with its controller system, the TEC can be driven at an efficiency of 90%. Applications include cooling of lower-power laser diodes and other active or passive devices in the telecommunications, photonics, optoelectronics, and sensors markets.

A flash-lamp-pumped single-longitudinal-mode laser (SLM) features a passive Q-switch, double amplifier transition, and phase-conjugated mirror for high beam quality and focus. The Spitlight Passive SLM has a diffraction-free profile and uses frequency-doubling crystals for frequency multiplications up to the fifth harmonic. Laser-diode modules

Compact FLEXPOINT mini series laser-diode modules are 15 mm in length and 8 mm in diameter. The dot lasers are focusable with an output power of 1 or 4.9 mW at a wavelength of 635 or 650 nm. The modules require a supply voltage of 4.5 to 6 VDC and can be equipped with analog or digital modulation or a control wire used for power adjustment.

With an operating current of 250 mA, the LED features a typical luminous intensity of 9000 mcd for red, 18,000 mcd for true green, and 4500 mcd for blue. Viewing angle was designed to 125°.
