Optimax execs garner NY small business award

Optimax Systems' CEO Rick Plympton and president Mike Mandina have been awarded with the US Small Business Administration (SBA) 2012 New York State Small Business Person of the Year award.

Ontario, NY--Optimax Systems' CEO Rick Plympton and president Mike Mandina have been awarded with the US Small Business Administration (SBA) 2012 New York State Small Business Person of the Year award. The SBA award recognizes individuals for their role in driving US economic growth, as well as personal achievements.

Mandina and Plympton have a solid record of performance since commencing operations in 1991, including significant community contributions and employee commitment, says Pennie Smith, vice president, New York Business Development Corporation (NYBDC). And the business continues to grow and prosper under their guidance, she says. In 2010 and 2011 the business grew by more than 30%, with plans each year thereafter to grow by 15%, cites Mandina.
