LightWorks Optics welcomes back William Morgan to head business development

Tustin, CA--Optical design firm LightWorks Optics has rehired William Morgan to lead the company's new business development efforts within the aerospace and defense markets.

Tustin, CA--Optical design firm LightWorks Optics has rehired William Morgan to lead the company's new business development efforts within the aerospace and defense markets.

Morgan previously worked for LightWorks Optics in the early 2000s to help launch the company's new business development department. In his new role, Morgan will provide strategic planning, market research, and supervisory support to the team in an effort to grow market share within the defense market.

With more than 14 years of experience in business development and 16 years in technical program management and product development, Morgan has held key management positions with Axsys Technologies-General Dynamics, Intevac Vision Systems, Rockwell Collins Optronics, OCA Applied Optics, McDonnell Douglas Electronics Systems, and McDonnell Douglas Astronautics.

Morgan earned a bachelor's degree in applied physics from the University of California, San Diego. He also holds a patent for the precision angle sensor and has co-authored two published technical articles.
