Edmund Optics grant recipients to make Vision 2011 appearance

Optical components provider Edmund Optics recently announced the winners of its 2011 Higher Education Grant Program, which recognizes outstanding optics and imaging programs at universities and non-profit research institutions in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Barrington, NJ--Optical components provider Edmund Optics recently announced the winners of its 2011 Higher Education Grant Program, which recognizes outstanding optics and imaging programs at universities and non-profit research institutions in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Over $66,000 in the company's products will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place winners from all three continents to support their research and educational activities.

The three European winners will attend the Vision 2011 show, to be held November 8–10, 2011, in Stuttgart, Germany. Specifically, the three winners will be at the company's booth (Hall 4, A15) on Wednesday, November 9, at 10 a.m. to discuss their research and activities that led them to their awards. The company requests RSVPs from anyone interested in meeting with them.
