Feb. 27, 2015
Vacuum blackbodies are infrared reference sources that operate in a vacuum chamber at cryogenic or ambient temperatures.

Vacuum blackbodies are infrared reference sources that operate in a vacuum chamber at cryogenic or ambient temperatures. The vacuum-compatible emissive head is connected to a controller outside the chamber. They have emissivity up to 0.999 and an absolute temperature range from 100 to 425 K. They provide radiometric calibration over 3–5 or 8–14 micron.
