Navitar to debut bi-telecentric lenses at SPIE BiOS and SPIE Photonics West 2014

Jan. 22, 2014
MagniStar bi-telecentric lenses have applications in metrology, flat panel inspection, curved surface inspection, and other imaging applications when greater DOF is required.

Navitar’s new line of MagniStar high resolution bi-telecentric lenses offer a good optical solution for imaging and measurement applications where extreme accuracy is required. These high-resolution, low distortion lenses are designed to work with camera formats of 2/3 inch and smaller and also support megapixel cameras with 3.5 micron pixels. Applications include metrology, flat panel inspection, curved surface inspection, and other imaging applications when greater depth of field is required. Key advantages include adjustable built-in iris, excellent MTF performance, and less than 0.1% image distortion.
