Minus K celebrates 20 years with vibration isolator giveaway

Inglewood, CA--Minus K Technology isgiving away $20,000 of patented vibration isolators to colleges and universities within the United States, in celebration of its 20th year anniversary. Minus K negative-stiffness, low-frequency vibration isolators use no air or electricity, and are currently being used for research in biology, neuroscience, chemistry, photonics, crystal growth, physics, and microscopy by more than 300 leading universities and government laboratories in 43 countries.

Institutions within the United States, that have an atomic force microscope (AFM), electron microscope, interferometer, laser optical system, micro hardness tester, or any other special equipment that would benefit from a low-frequency vibration isolator are eligible to apply at http://www.minusk.com/giveaway/mk20yr_form.doc. Up to six vibration isolators will be given away, for a total value of $20,000 with no purchase necessary. Submission deadline for applications is January 31, 2014.

Minus K Technology was founded in 1993 to develop, manufacture, and market state-of-the-art vibration isolation products based on the company's patented negative-stiffness-mechanism technology.
