Quebec City, CANADA - Gentec Electro-Optics, Inc. (Quebec City, Canada), launches a new High Power Detector that reads up to 2 500 W of average power. The UP55C-2.5KW-HD measures both very low and very high powers, thanks to a noise level of just 200 mW and a maximum measurable power of 2 500 W. It is also the fastest high power detector we have, presenting a rise time of only 3.5 seconds when using one of our power monitors. The UP55C-2.5KW-HD is very compact for its power capacity (only 48 mm deep) and is the most affordable high power detector on the market.
