The SR-500 and SR-1100 spectroradiometers can validate the class of any commercially available continuous output solar simulator, per IEC 60904-9/ASTM E927-05. Suited for measuring irradiance and spectral match over the 320–1100 nm range, they include a 1 m fiber-optic and right-angle diffuser, and have NIST-traceable calibration, autoshutter, and autoexposure.

PRESS RELEASE

Uncertainties in the spectral performance measurements of continuous solar simulators can significantly impact a manufacturer’s revenue.

Be certain of your simulator’s class with portable spectroradiometers from Spectral Evolution.

Lawrence, MA – Solar simulators can provide an accepted method for measuring and testing the power ratings of photovoltaic modules and solar panels at the manufacturer’s facility. However, uncertainties in these measurements can significantly impact a manufacturer’s revenue. The SR-500 and SR-1100 spectroradiometers from Spectral Evolution can validate the class of any commercially available continuous output solar simulator, per IEC 60904-9/ASTM E927-05.

These systems feature:
• Ideal for measuring irradiance and spectral match;
• High reliability, with no moving optics to breakdown;
• Complete with 1M fiber optic and right angle diffuser;
• NIST traceable calibration;
• Weighs less than three pounds;
• Autoexposure and autoshutter for easy, one-touch operation.

Both systems work with DARWin SP Data Acquisition and Analysis software to capture and show actual irradiance over a full 320-1100nm range. Built-in software routines provide class status as a function of wavelength and generate a spectral match report.

To validate pulsed solar simulators, ask about our SR-1900 spectroradiometer.
