The torus "ruggedized" single-frequency 532 nm SLM laser now offers up to 750 mW of power, targeting sensitive measurement and detection applications including stand-off Raman spectroscopy, interferometry, and lidar. The device, with >100 m coherence length and <1 MHz linewidth, has a virtual ring cavity design that "vastly" reduces shock and vibration sensitivity, compared with a physical ring cavity seen in most single-frequency DPSS lasers. It incorporates active mode-locking, with stability within 5 pm over a 20C drive, eliminating mode hop.Laser Quantum

PRESS RELEASE

torus SLM laser now available in 750mW

http://www.laserquantum.com/products/detail.cfm?id=19

The torus 532nm laser, the markets only frequency locked SLM laser that eliminates mode hop and drift, is now available at 750mW. The increased power allows an increased range of applications such as stand-off Raman spectroscopy, interferometry and LIDAR, and offers higher processing speeds in fields such as holography. The torus features outstanding specifications including a coherence length of over 100m and a line-width of under 1MHz.
