control and data acquisition.

Introducing the brand new AvaGigE, a USB to Ethernet converter device. The AvaGige enables our entire line of Avaspec USB 2.0 controlled spectrometers to plug into the Ethernet.

The AvaGigE consists of a hardware device which supports the connection of a single or up to sixteen spectrometers (via USB hub) and a web-based configuration utility. The AvaGigE handles all synchronization between channels. Once the connection has been configured, the AvaSpec spectrometers can be addressed via AvaSoft operating software or the AS5216 DLL interface. The AvaGigE device supports data transfer speeds which are nearly equivalent to direct USB 2.0 communication.

No Windows drivers needed; controlled directly through Avantes DLL with Ethernet support
