The PicoSpark Q-switched, fiber-amplified laser offers a 50 kHz repetition rate and 400 ps pulse duration at 1064 or 532 nm. The laser achieves peak powers in excess of 200 kW for laser micromachining and marking applications.

Picospark Short Pulse Laser Turns Faster and Colder

Teem Photonics now announces a 25% higher repetition rate and 25% shorter pulse version to the passively Q-Switched PicoSparkTM laser family for high quality Micromachining and Precision Marking.

The few hundred picoseconds, Master Oscillator, Fibre Amplified PicoSparkTM laser is now offered with 50 kHz repetition rate, and down to 400ps pulse duration, at 1064nm or 532nm.

This laser achieves peak powers in excess of 200kW

The 25% higher repetition rate allows faster material ablation, or higher throughput, and the 25% shorter pulse duration further reduces the HAZ in sensitive (thermally conductive) materials.

Teem Photonics product offering includes:
Repetition rates up to 150 kHz,
Wavelengths from 266nm …1064 nm
Pulse width from 300…900 ps
Pulse energy from 1…200 µJ
