PRESS RELEASE

LASER World of Photonics 2011 – Show Preview

At LASER 2011 we will present the whole range of scanning solutions for the photonics industry. Our exhibits will be clustered around “high end solutions”, “software and systems solutions”, and “standard solutions”.

One of the show highlights is the new intelliSCANse® 10 – the world´s first scan head with only 10 mm aperture and high-end, high-res digital encoder scanners. Basis for this innovation is the dynAXISse® S which features an all new, patented encoder design with ultra low inertia and therefore uncompromised dynamic performance.

Other highlights are solutions for inline laser edge detection and through the head machine vision which will help integrators to realize top notch laser machines in much shorter time than their competition. Also laserDESK® - SCANLAB´s laser processing software package - will be demonstrated to the laser community.

SCANLAB AG, Germany, is the worldwide leading and independent OEM-manufacturer of scan solutions for the deflection and positioning of laser beams in three dimensions. SCANLAB’s high-performance galvanometer scanners, scan heads and scan systems are used worldwide for industrial laser material processing, as well as in medical and biomedical technology.
