PRESS RELEASE

Ocean Thin Films Releases the SpectroCam™ For Multispectral Imaging

Custom Engineered Systems for Biomedical Applications and Devices

Ocean Thin Films (OTF) introduces the SpectroCam™ multispectral imaging (MSI) camera, for applications that benefit from real-time imaging of organic and inorganic materials. OTF offers engineers and researchers a high-quality MSI platform, simplifying the design process and reducing time-to-market. The SpectroCam™ captures high-resolution images using a discrete set of wavelengths relevant to each application. This targeted approach produces visual data that can be customized for a variety of biomedical applications.

SpectroCam™ utilizes a single wideband CCD, capable of measurements from UV through Near Infrared wavelengths. The SpectroCam™ is available in a Development Kit for R&D teams needing a quick turnkey solution in proof of concept studies and includes a set of filters covering the most commonly used wavelengths. Filters and sensors are customizable to meet specific needs and the cameras are easily re-configured for OEM applications. The SpectroCam™ offers a versatile, cost effective solution for your MSI projects.

Ocean Thin Films, a subsidiary of Halma p.l.c, international market leader in safety, health and sensor technology, has over two decades in thin film coating development, designing and manufacturing precision patterned optical coatings, components and assemblies. OTF supports OEM applications in the biomedical industry, from rapid prototyping through high-volume contract manufacturing.
