II-VI Suwtech to display GaAs pump laser modules at LASER World of Photonics China 2017

March 3, 2017
A line of gallium arsenide (GaAs) pump laser modules features a wavelength-stabilized optical design.

The company's gallium arsenide (GaAs) pump laser modules feature a wavelength-stabilized optical design that significantly extends their output power stability performance over operating-temperature and output-power dynamic ranges. The lasers, which enable ultrafast fiber lasers to operate with shorter pulses and achieve higher-precision drilling and marking, achieve their high output power by combining multiple GaAs semiconductor laser chips into one module. The combined output power is coupled to an industry-standard 105 μm multimode fiber.
