Garching, Germany--Refractive and diffractive micro-optics supplier SUSS MicroOptics (Neuchâtel, Switzerland), a 100% subsidiary of SÜSS MicroTec AG, will relocate its production facilities in Neuchâtel.
The company, with experience in optical design, micro-fabrication, and metrology, provides components using manufacturing techniques based on 200 mm wafer technology in quartz and silicon. This capability has led to compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20% over the last 10 years for the company, so a larger facility will help to account for growing business.
The facility will also house new cleanroom facilities to support the growth strategy of the company's micro-optics business, which will be in full operation by mid-December 2012.
