Safe-Guard PET-G Optics Packaging Launches Online Size-Finder

GRATON, Calif., January 19, 2012, /PRWeb/ -- Today Empire West announced the launch of its new Safe-Guard optics packaging Web site, featuring a just-developed size-finder tool that will revolutionize the selection, specification and procurement of PET-G containers for high-value optical components. Made from NASA-tested low outgassing PET-G material, Safe-Guard containers are available in thousands of sizes, are cleanroom compatible, and set the industry standard for precision optical protection.

Complete with an instructional video, Safe-Guard’s new, intuitive, three-step size-finder allows customers to locate the perfect container for their round optics quickly and easily online. The online system will then identify a recommended container, provide an optic compatibility chart for that container, and even create an illustration of how and where the specified optic will fit within the container. For documentation files, incoming inspection procedures and bid packages, the site also offers printable PDF specification sheets that can be emailed to team members or vendors.
