PRESS RELEASE

High Powered Red laser
The use of red (660nm) diode lasers is extensive in life science laboratories for applications such as  DNA sequencing, fluorescence and raman spectroscopy. Laser Quantum has launched the lux laser that delivers up to 1W of 660nm laser power in a compact head design. This high power is achieved with the high beam quality and long lifetimes expected from a DPSS laser. With an M2 of <1.2, RMS Noise levels of 0.6% and power stability of 1%, the lux offers all the advantages of a DPSS laser and now the power available from diode lasers.
