The Glacier T high-resolution, CCD array spectrometer is preconfigured for Raman spectroscopy applications, with 532 or 785 nm excitation, a resolution as fine as 3 cm-1, and a range up to 4000 cm-1. Thermoelectric cooling allows integration of the signal for long enough to accumulate measurable signals without being saturated with dark noise.

B&W Tek, Inc., an advanced instrumentation company producing optical spectroscopy and laser systems, announces the Glacier™ T high resolution TE cooled CCD array spectrometer for Raman spectroscopy applications.

The Glacier™ T features laboratory performance in an extremely compact form factor, measuring less than 8in x 4in x 4in.  B&W Tek’s proprietary TE Cooling technology allows the signal to be integrated for sufficient time to accumulate measurable signals for detection, without being saturated with dark noise.  TE Cooling, combined with the Glacier T’s fast F/2 spectrograph, makes it ideal for modular Raman spectroscopy as well as OEM integration into larger Raman systems.
