San Francisco, CA-- If you attended SPIE's Photonics West 2011, you no doubt saw numerous caped individuals at the Ocean Optics (Dunedin, FL) and Edmund Optics (Barrington, NJ) booths in the exhibition hall. And who knows--you may have donned a cape yourself! While Ocean Optics was promoting its new array of "superheroes of spectroscopy" products, Edmund Optics was promoting its optics superheroes campaign to identify the everyday superheroes in our photonics industry.
Ocean Optics (blue capes) presented "The League of Light" superheroes of spectroscopy, including Lambda Maxx, Foxy Otu, Automator, SpectraGal, and Blaze Wavelength--each embodying particular capabilities of laser and photonic products such as the ability to bend light, create and control electrical current, and perform superleaps at super speeds. For more information, go to www.oceanoptics.com/lol.
Edmund Optics (yellow and black capes) developed its superhero campaign to promote its optics superheroes grant winners and all the other real superheroes of our industry--the people that bring photonics and optics alive. One of the lucky people who had their picture taken at Photonics West will appear on the next Edmund Optics cover! For more information, go to www.edmundoptics.com/superhero.
