Henrik Skov Andersen appointed new CEO at Ibsen Photonics

Farum, Denmark--Ibsen Photonics announced that Henrik Skov Andersen is appointed new Chief Executive Officer effective February 1st 2011. Ibsen Photonics manufactures grating components and spectrometer modules and says it enters 2011 with a solid foundation for growth.

The current CEO Torben Jacobsen announced three years ago to the Board of Directors that he intended to stop as daily manager of Ibsen in the spring of 2011, where he turns 65, after which he wants to focus on Board of Directors work and have more spare time.

Kim Vejlby Hansen, Chairman of the Board of Ibsen Photonics and COO at FOSS says: "We have found a perfect solution in connection with this generation shift. Torben Jacobsen has together with the employees over the past years successfully transformed Ibsen from a one play company to become a recognized supplier of grating components and spectrometer modules for many diverse markets. We are now ready for strong growth in the coming years and Henrik Skov Andersen is a perfect manager to carry through this growth together with the employees. I am looking forward to the coming collaboration."

Henrik Skov Andersen comes to Ibsen Photonics from his most recent position as CEO for Netgroup Holding. Henrik Skov Andersen has had managing positions at Coloplast, Scandinavian Mobility and Timken, as well as having been a consultant at McKinsey. Henrik Skov Andersen holds a Ms. E.E. from the Technical University of Denmark and an MBA from Insead.
